Just updated our 3-week stay in Niseko to 10 days, added a few days in Sapporo & a week in Asahikawa because of this video & saved a bunch of money while visiting more resorts. Great information. Very stoked.

Night skiing at Santa Present Park (abt 10-15 minutes drive from Asahikawa) is quite awesome too

Great channel. I live in Japan and this info is great. Definitely if you come here regularly, try to learn some of the language and it will completely change your experience.

I would also love to get your insight into the ski areas around Nagano. Headed there in February for five days. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Yuzawa is a great town. Easy access to about 15 resorts.

Great video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I would love to see more detail about how to link in transport when staying at cities you’ve recommended. Thanks again, Scott.

The footage in the onsen with the monkey absolutely took me out, amazing!!

Einfach klasse.

Great video, dying to go to Japan and try the pow! Would love an equivalent video for Austria, I'm really struggling to find somewhere cheap and happening but easy to get to the slopes!

Why does Shiga Kogen not make the list for the Nagano region? Jigokudani Monkey Park is right below the ski area and it is a quite large and excellent area. Oh, and it has on mountain hotels that can be under 10000 yen a night with meals included.

A video on ski resorts accessible from Nagano (without a car) would be amazing - we are staying in Nagano for 5 nights in January 2025 and currently looking at day trip ski options!

Really enjoy your posts. We have a trip planned to Japan this year and were booked for Yuzawa. Hotel there was hard to book and eyewateringly expensive. After watching this, have just booked a hotel in Nagano instead and booked a rental car at Times. Such a great idea, would never have thought of this. Thanks for the great idea. Lucky in New Zealand we drive on the left so that is not a problem! Would really like to see a detailed video on fields in Nagano. Been there a couple of times, only Haukuba.

How you don’t have more followers, I don’t know. Really love your content!! Funny and informative. Heading to Japan for the second time and use your info always.

Please make a video about the logistics of staying in Nagano and visiting a different nearby ski area every day!
