I'm a cook myself! I always though this would be a great series or even channel topic! This hack worked wonderfully for me thanks for the advice!

Hi, I would suggest you putting the paprika before the beans for maybe 20 seconds, so you get a brtter flavour

I'd just about totally given up on baked beans over the last few months.
Used to love them, but every brand I've tried over the years has gone downhill recently in quality and savagely uphill in price. Plus, you rarely even get a full tin any more - less and less beans, more and more liquid (I'd hesitate to call it sauce these days.)

But this recipe REALLY worked on a couple of tins I still had in the cupboard. I've also tried adding a dash of pesto. Beans on toast has taken on a new life. There are dozens of recipes like this on YT - take my word, you need look no further than this one.

I still won't be putting beans on my regular shopping list, given today's prices. But at least I'll be considering any special offers from now on.

Hey just what I was looking for. This is what I do already basically but I was looking for some guidance with just how much to add. Every other recipe turns them into candy by adding all kinds of barbecue sauce and ketchup and extra sugar. Way too sweet. This is perfect. Simple, and more flavor without turning it into a dessert.

I just ate a can, no name brand here in canada, was pretty bland tonato sauce more like tomato water, i hope my next can of pork and molasses taste better than the tomatoe did, i didnt think to spice it up till after i ate them, and then found this video, i had a tiny bit of parmegianno reggiano left, i could have grated that on top

I think id go a step further and wash off the horrible bland sweet sauce first.

So it literally is just baked beans on toast? I'm Mexican and from Texas I love beans and we have our own toast but I... really...?
