Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 and first half of this year with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

From $10K to $110K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family..

The comparison of 1 crore salary in India and 150k in USA is total crap. On 1 cr salary You will pay roughly 32-34 lacs of taxes and will be left with 65+ lacs of post tax income. Even if you live lavishly you will still be able to save more 70% + of it. and still be near friends and family. However 150k in places like california will give you a very average lifestyle with almost no savings.

Akshat has tried to paint a rosy picture to support his argument by comparing the best combination of US (good salary and low expense city) with that of India. I know its possible but can it be replicated by everyone. The answer is NO !
