THE PERFECT LENS WILL NEVER EXIST!
But let's imagine if we can make it happen, what kind of lens do we really want? There are plenty of great Micro Four Thirds lenses, and lots of them are very near perfect, but today I want to share to you my imaginary Micro 4/3 lenses that I would like to have if they really exist. They should cover anything from ultra wide angle, to normal angle, to ultra telephoto, with large aperture, weather sealing, small light compact, and reasonably affordable price. What about your version of the ultimate M43 lens?

I recently got the 14-140 and I am very happy with it. It is the largest m43 lens I have but the compromise is worth it, that lens covers so many focal lengths. Panasonic are on the right track with the 9mm. Small, high quality at a reasonable price. But what I really want is a GX10 😁😉

Would like to see, 52.5mm F1.4 stabilized, 21mm F1.4, and more small camera's with a Microphone port.

I like the M4/3 systems for many of the same reasons. Small, great lens selections, easy to travel with. Plus, image stabilization for early morning and evening street photography. I like your idea of the 7mm or 8mm to 100mm zoom at f/4. I think a 7mm to 50mm at f/2.8, that is compact, has image stabilization, would be my ideal. Realistically, maybe 9mm to 50 mm at f/2.8. The LX100 mii has an incredible f/1.7 lens starting at 12mm. If only it started at 7 or 9 mm. I would prefer more wide angle and give up the f/1.7 for f/2.8.

I think I am happy with primes at the wide end. A modestly brighter version the 75-300 or 100-400 would be great. Or a 75-200 and a 250-400. Compromise on the range if that would permit bright + light + affordable.

All i need is manual 10mm f0.95 with electronic communication to camera and at the size of Panasonic 25mm f1.4 or even smaller

Olympus 12-50mm its already made. Its wide and telephoto and has macro and its small and lite weight.

On the one hand 🤚 I am very satisfied and happy with my MFT cameras and lens but then GAS creeps up on me and on the other hand 🖐️ I think I will never be satisfied "if only"
Something useful would be for the TC 1.4 and TC 2.0 and more of the Panny lenses to be compatible with each other.
