Sarim I have a question on which I have been struggling, it goes like we have a light source placed at the bottom of a swimming pool, basically a denser medium . And we have placed a plane mirror perpendicular to the surface differentiating the swimming pool and air . Now, when the light ray gets refracted at the surface of swimming pool and air at critical angle then the refracted ray will graze the surface and strike the mirror normally . According to principle of reversibility it should retrace it's path back to its source but shouldn't it just graze the surface forever?
I would appreciate your explanation on this problem.

Sarim if you are interested in appearing for JEE tell everyone who is projecting you as AIR 1 that you are aiming to be in top 1500 so that you can get rid of lot of pressure and stress. But internally aim for top 10 there is no one close to you even if you clear JEE advance with rank 50 you will get more respect, recognition and admiration than AIR 1.
