Loved 3b in your adventures with the Gelli Plate.  Thanks for sharing and giving us more ideas on what to use to get the dimension.  Have a wonderful day!

I was able to remove graphite pencil marks from my Gelli Plate by pouring mineral oil on it, massaging it into the surface, wiping it off with a soft rag (old tee shirt), then cleaning it as usual with hand sanitizer gel or baby wipes.  It seemed to clean and refresh the surface of the plate and lifted the graphite marks totally out.

Nana Likie This...LOL..Yes Michael you can print Directly on to your Journal Page ( Just Open your Journal up Lay page right on the Plate, You can also get Smaller Size Plates, Circles, etc. . Can you get Textured Foam, usually found in the Kids section. Place Foam Texture face down, lift up, then place paper on Print away...Foam Letters works great too) Yes Indeed All your Papers are Jolly Good, They are Down right Brilliant...Have Fun Playing, try your Metallic Paints, you will Love the results :) LYBM...XXXOOO

that red one is  :D  I wanted to ask you, Mike, what do you do with some of the non-art journal pages, such as tags?  Do you give them as gifts, or collect them yourself?  I like to make tags and ATCs, but they just sit round my studio and collect dust.  :)

try not cleaning your plate. (you don't HAVE to clean it. they don't tell you that, but it doesn't truly hurt the plate). the 'crispy bits' pulled up with each print are SO cool!

you should keep all those wipes you use to clean up paint Mike, when they are dry you can use them like deli paper or collage pieces they are so colourful

So much fun to watch. I really like the effect of the 'angel hair'. Do you remember where you got that?

Thank you for this second episode. And thank you for sharing your prints on your blog. Give me some ideas... I have a tendancy to use less paint on the plate than you. And I m using srencils to layer the prints. But I love your results more than mine... What are you going to do with them ? Any idea ?

PS - to print right to your journal page, just paint up your gelli plate and then reverse it onto your journal page and press down.  :)
