This aint right, you have no seperation between your game audio and discord chat. Loud game means nobody can hear your friends talking over it in the chat

I’ll keep this in mind if I ever need this.

I did exactly how you did it but I still have a little issue with the discord party. The voice chat is low, and I don’t know why! Can you also go in depth on how to set it up for windows?

Hello, Making a 4-year long dream happen, but am no tech genius.

I'm seeing in your comments, people asking questions and you earnestly answering. I've been contacting streamlabs, tech experts, and my friends who think they know everything lol, to no avail. Maybe if I drop my question here; the culture you've created or even your magnificent responses may shine some light on my dilemma.

With my set up I have found ZERO forums or answers of any type.
1.)A good TV (All ports needed) 2.)a Denon Reciever that acts as our main hub (srsly main..). 3.) Xbox one 4.) PC Average specs, custom (Runs anything I need it to on 750 up and down internet; it won't go Nasa though) 5.)Subwoofer & Surround speakers. Everything all runs to and fro, the Danon receiver. We use the PC as our main entertainment/ workhorse for online business The T.v. is our main monitor for the PC with a regular monitor off and to the side unless I require two screens from time to time. The T.v of course is the console' monitor too, Switching between the two using the Receiver to keep the sound working for both PC and console.
We just got 6.) A 1080p Live Cam Sync ( USB plugged into PC) and 7.) an Avermedia capture Having trouble with the placement of that.... Because of the Reciever (then there's the whole recording paths thing, which, it's fine. I got that)

& introducing these last two into the mix, on the recommendations of the people we bought it from, has had mixed results.

We got it all working, (My lady is equally into getting this going and fancies herself a techy, bless her amazing heart) but I have two issues. Audio no longer goes through the surround/ sub but through the TV speakers. which... sucks. & when streaming - the party chat from Xbox (Hence how I found your video) Is buggy as all hell with more hiccups than I can recall. (Operating with latest windows, Streamlabs obs free version, and google chrome for whatever that info helps.) (Cloud alpha Hyper X Headphones with mic.)

The only solution I can figure for the party chat is to forgo game sounds from both the speakers (Wich I turn right down when streaming, so not the issue there) and my headset. Is to put the party chat on discord through streamlabs. but then I can't hear the game which may make for janky gameplay... Used to use the headset i chat with to listen to the game. (The speakers and sub are for day time/evening family stuff)
The solution for the Capture card I'm facing is switching the cords around or unplugging and replugging each time i want to stream vs using my existing setup... which is way too cumbersome to even think about. I have two kids and a young wifey, and meager but varied businesses to manage and grow. Looking for streamlined streaming and satisfaction in my new work hobby here. Sorry for the blurb but i figure the more I give you upfront, should you decide to help, the better.

Still want to get a new mic, (Know nothing about audio tech or software) Soundproofing and lights and flex arms to attach things to, because ill be streaming from my livingroom and the no desk in front of me using wireless keyboard and mouse kinda backfired on me going into streaming.)

Again, came across your video and culture, and thought I'd post the obstacle in my quest. Thank you for reading this far if you have. Hope to watch your growth along the way of my own journey regardless. As I like what I see here, and hope to emulate aspects of what I see here.

Hey, thanks for the vid! How would I use my one microphone to use on a voice chat in discord and use it for the stream? Thanks!
