They need to add more smoke, make it darker, have it more zoomed in so you can't see the base (as it is in the NF) and then it'll be nearly the exact same

Besides the smaller screen, they can do a lot of small tweaks that will make a big difference, like turning down the lighting, adding more smoke and better camera work/more cuts. All that matters is that it looks great in the GF. I have no doubt they will make it work.

Downgrade was just insane, not just staging wise, but smoke, lightining, actual camera quality and cinematography, it is like Eurovision intentionally did not wanted Loreen to win.

they should have done a digital overlay (computer graphics added to what's actually seen on stage), as they could literally have made the "floating box" appear much bigger than what it actually is. The technique was used several times during the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

I absolutely love this song from the first moment I heard it, and of course the National final was extremely impactful, even the performance with too much smoke, the ending was amazing!
SO Yesterday, naturally, I was really upset at bbc/svt and her team to allow such a small LED screen to be used. When you consider the scale of some of the other props I’ve seen in rehearsals, I mean it really cannot be that difficult to create something large and lightweight, the horrendous camera angles on the rehearsal clip together with the huge bezel on the screen and new colour platform/led screen (now brown not black) take away that unique visual experience.
This together with the lack of darkness and smoke diminish that immersive sandstorm setting, feeling, emotion and storytelling. Hopefully they have sit down after viewing and realise some of these issues, it’s not too late to correct camerawork and lighting mainly!
On the positive side, I can still see this song winning the contest, purely because it is performed so well vocally, and most of the audience on the televised, semi-final/final will only be familiar with what they are seeing on that night, plus of course it’s extremely catchy song and radio Hit. The emotion and energy which loreen is putting into the performance is 2nd to none! I am praying and keeping my fingers crossed that everything will come together nicely next week❤

It’s curious but her gestures and hand movements in Eurovision were stronger than in Melodifestivalen!

The camera angles are not good, they are using basically the same from the national selection, and guess what, it doesn't work like that
If they wanted, they could make the performance look more grand with a few different angles, but they didn't. So the fault is not on the size of the LED, people have to work with what they have got, but Sweden always want to copy and paste their Melfest performances... Sometimes it doesn't work, you have to try something different. I hope they fix that, because there are ways to make it work, and they can give their performer her best shot

Needs to have more contrast in exposure, more orange warm color on the back, more smoke, more medium to close up shots..also those dividers on the screen behind are rediculous, I mean why not just put one piece led screen?

The smaller screen is a lost cause, but the Eurovision performance can still be improved drastically by putting MUCH more fog and some darker lighting. The rehearsal as of now looks like a rough cut of the NF..

The problem is also that the screen is tilted enough ! The camera work is sloppy, slow and weak, the lighting is not engaging enough and the screen is too small and there is not enough smoke
