I LOVE these kinda blog posts from you guys! And it's okay-it can be hard in situations like this to be super social (as other people can be equally as awkward, trust me). Anyways I loved what I saw (some fire cosplay and sweet hoodies)-it's a pity they dont have as much stuff like this in the states! I've wanted to go to KupoCon in UK for four years now but so far there was either a pandemic in the way or some other hurdles. But one day!

Thank you for your video, I could never quite imagine the scale of the con and how crowded it is. Your video gives a good insight into it.

As someone going to conventions for more of half of their life it's been so interesting listening to your first time experience. Don't worry a lot of people are shy and feel awkward it is after all not easy to start a conversation with strangers. Though I always felt that fandom specific conventions always made it a bit easier because everyone there likes the same thing, so that is a topic one can talk about. A convention in a hotel is in general more relaxed than big convention centers where it takes you like 30 minutes to walk from A to B.

I hope you could break the ice a bit and consider visiting again.

Also your tourist footage is top comedy material. I have no idea how you could come across as standoffish seeing how you don't take yourself serious in this footage at all. 🤣

It's refreshing seeing you guys vlog! Very honest and heartfelt reflection there! I can relate to having different sides to you, it's harder being my goofy self with people I just met. And with any new places and people, most of the time I struggle with finding the right topic or chance to jump into a conversation and opening myself up to others, at least in a genuine way. I think sometimes you do have to kick start it by forcing yourself a little, and once people see that you care enough to open up to them it'll follow genuinely. Or something like that, idk, I'm quite socially awkward myself lol. Love getting some insight of the FF community all over the world. Also cool hoodies!

I also have trouble mingling at cons I haven't been to before. If I go a second year, I always find friends from the year before, and it's a much better experience. I haven't done a FF con though. I like that you loosened up over the day and had fun at the evening. Good vlog!
