The way Carrie looked at Peter when he lost his line was “you poor, adorable dear”. I remember a time or two I saw an interview and she was asked about Peter, Carrie always spoke of him with such affection. You could tell she adored the man, and said he was always such an impeccable gentleman that she had a hard time mustering the right attitude of contempt for Tarkin because she felt rotten about being mean to Peter.

My father met Peter Cushing in a pub back in the late 80s he's always said what a polite and friendly person he was.

It's a shame I couldn't meet him and Christopher Lee.
