People forget to this day, ICE is the type with the least amount of pokemon. FAIRY has more.

In terms of the flying types, this is why I think Sword/Shield gave us the best bird Pokemon: Rookidee. A pure flying type that later evolves into a badass flying/steel type with Corikmight.

I feel like ice is a little mistreated because yes its effective to alot of types but it only resist itselfs

The line about poison being slapped onto most grass and bug pokemon is so real. Like, I understand that a lot of plants and bugs are toxic, but its become old hat. Especially when you consider that gen 1's two majority typings are poison and normal. Gens 5, 7, and 8 have done great things for the bug typing though. Hopefully we can see a new bug legend//mythical sometime soon

The funny thing is Ground is the PRIMARY type for the Rhyhorn line.

I genuinely just found out like, yesterday, that Bulbasaur was Poison type. I'd always thought it was just Grass, that's how little Poison matters.

Pidgeot is Normal bc in Gen 1 most of its moves were Normal, it only had 2 Flying moves back then. Now that two decades have passed, newer Mons get more understandable treatment since the world of Pokemon has been solidly built

Poison and Ice types are so underrated and neglected.

If you want to make a Pokemon game hard, solo with those types (and Bug).

Part of the reason Venusaur is so goated in gen 4 UU is its secondary poison typing. STAB Sludge Bomb along with the fighting resistance and bug neutrality (common attacking types in gen 4 UU) set it apart from other grass types like leafeon. Being able to go special or physical due to access to stab sludge bomb also increases its unpredictability and versatility.

Rhydon is actually a secondary Rock-type, and the only reason I’ve memorised this fact is ‘cos it’s my favourite Gen 1 Ground-type 🦏

Toxtricity is such a nice pokemon with both styling nature type difference and even shiny colors on each nature types... plus its poison plus electric... its certainly one of the best pokemon if not the best looking pokemon in newer gens

I honestly wish we had more flying types that weren't just birds or bugs. The genies are a great example of alternative inspiration for flying types

Rhydon is more useful as a Ground-type than as a Rock-type since it's too slow to make use of the flinch chance Rock Slide offers.

We need more dark/poison types is all I gotta say. Because that singular ground weakness is wild
