hi.. I am trying to get used to with illustrator using your tutorials. I found it quite precise and clear. Thanks for such elaborated tutorials with tips. I was using Corel Draw since last 23plus years. I switched to Ai a week back and now I am struggling with the change in user interface. I have a problem using align objects in Illustrator. Please help me find out the solution. For example, There's a square (Shape A) of size 10x10inch, placed at the Centre of the page. Now made/imported a circle or any shape (Shape B), somewhere in the artboard. I want Shape B to top aligned and Left side aligned to Shape A. When I tried using this align function, Shape A and B both travelled at the mean space and align the way I wanted. Whereas in CorelDraw, Shape A remains at the same place and the new Shape i.e. Shape B travels to the top and left aligned to Shape A. In short, I don't want my prime object to move from its place while getting new shape aligned to it. [is there any option or button to keep the prime object stick to one place and the other object travel to the exact lotion of prime] Hope you understood my query have some more issues. will you help me with it?
