Abandoned House Hidden Under Ivy Full Of Retro Toys

This episode was from our recent trip up to north Wales, an abandoned house filled with toys from the 1980's and earlier! The house is fully overgrown with ivy and it's only the car outside which gives it's location away. We bumped into two other explorers as we enter the property which had everyone on edge at first.

My guess is there was a problem with the mains sockets upstairs so the householder ran extension leads up the stairs instead of getting an Electrician. Given the number of Electric heaters at the top of the stairs, it could have easily overloaded the extension cable and set fire to the carpet. Not a good place for a fire to start, especially if you are upstairs at the time. Smoke inhalation is a killer.😢

Great job Ben! It appears when the house caught fire somewhat that they never came back for a damned thing not even the car. I'd have to go back ...some things you just cant replace. So many of these places are from hoarders and hoarders always love newspapers! Do they figure they may just go back and read them someday? ~Wally

Cosmo & Dibs and those water games, that brings back some memories. A box for a Super Gameboy which allowed you to play Gameboy games on the SNES. The Robocop game box looked like Commodore 64.
