*To confirm whether the bug is fixed or not, we do retesting and to check whether that defect had affected other dependancies/functionalities we do regression testing.*
That's what we do after getting the fixed bug.

Re-testing also called as confirmation testing... done by a tester to confirm whether the bug fixed by a developer is actually got fixed or no.

First I will initiate a retest and then regression test and if time permits, I’ll perform sanity test on the module.

We perform Retesting to confirm the really bug was fixed or not. If it was really fixed then we would perform Regression Testing on it to confirm, change features by create, update, delete, modification was affected by any other unchanged fixture/module. Then we will perform other tests like the remaining functional and non-functional testing.

We do re-testing, in re-testing if we found any defects we sent that bug report to the developer till it got fixed the cycle continues 😊

Post fixing the bug is assigned to the tester for its verification. This testing is known as retesting. Retesting is done by replicating the same scenario with same data in new build. In retesting those test cases are included which were failed earlier.

We should do functional testing not regression or retesting because we have to check whether the bug is actually fix or not. Regression testing or retesting is perform once we have done with testing.

To confirm whether the defect raised by tester is fixed or not we have to perform Retesting which is done when developer will fix that raised defect and he/she will reassign that defect to us then we will re-execute test cases related to that defect and check whether that defect if fixed or not.

When we found the bug then we will send to the development team then development team do make some changes and fix that issue. And they send to new build to the testing team then testing team conduct a re-testing on the new build.

Before testing we must see what we was fixing then after checking the whole code we have to look for the syntax errors and after that we must see what the error was and see if that code is fixed or not then run the program
