This week I am on a mission to learn as much as I can about The City of London in a relatively short period of time. This episode is packed with helpful tips and epic views of the London skyline. Join Eric and I as we enjoy breakfast on the 35th (technically 36th) floor of the Walkie Talkie Building. Then I will be following the path of destruction left by The Great Fire of 1666, ending with visits to St Paul’s Cathedral and St Dunstan in the east.

Fantastic interesting watch. Visited London many times and still not managed to see all the sights and views. Last time we went we took a tour of the graffiti in London, which I found amazing. Thanks Michelle.👍👏👏

Have you visited Westminster Abbey and the Queens gallery there, fantastic if a little pricey.

Another great video with plenty of information a lot of others miss like having breakfast and getting to use the sightseeing before the public, St Pauls and the Abbey are free if you go to a service . The walks look like that they could be very interesting revealing hidden gems and there might even be something interesting about the docks that were bombed during the war but now mostly built on .

London is a series of villages which have coalesced over time. But it’s a big city and I’m born and lived here me whole life and there’s plenty of areas I’ve never been to or ever want to visit! Also I live north of the river and never go south. Ever.

This is why I get annoyed when people slag "London" off for whatever reason they feel on any given day. MOST of the things they criticise are not applicable to "Greater London" where around 95% ish of residents live. People who come to the capital for whatever reason are usually basing their opinions on what they see in the the areas that you cover in this video which of course is NOT representative of the whole city in any shape or form. Good to see that you're helping to educate others and yourself 👍🏻

London also has a second City the City of Westminster to the west of the City of London.

Great vlog. Why not do a vlog for each of the walks that you spoke about? That would gıve your vıewers a complete pıcture of London. I was born and bred in South London but now live in Turkey and have not been back in many years.

It is true that many of those landmarks are actually owned by "The City of London", its just that many don't understand what The City of London is....

Hiya. Leadenhall is pronounced Leddenhall, btw, not Leeedenhall Market. I used to shop there when it WAS a Market and not just a glorified clothes shop, but that's another story. Every so often, because of people like you, I miss London and past memories rise up again. Thank you. Stay safe. All the best to you.
P.S.: Have you visited the Museum Of The Home, formerly known as the Geffrye Museum, in Shoreditch?

I forgot how impressive St Pauls really is. Very thankful it survived all the bombings.
