Building with the biggest Sims 4 update in 2024

I found it annoying that I had to add all my basic stuff like rings and sock to one outfit and then make multiple copies of that for all the other outfits the fact that I can just hit apply all is a huge game changer for me

They should have given us fake debug elevators so we could build with the working one and decoration ones, like they did with the water heaters, air conditioners, and thermostats. I wish they added it to base game in the future.

JAMES!!! You should do a tiny town season 2 at some point, but make the “town” a penthouse rental “town”!! You could do some really unique and cool apartments that way!

Update has broken university lodging - now if you stay on a shared accommodation, other students living there pay you rent 😅 just had this on my game

It's kinda funny how they added the option in my wedding stories not to use my wedding stories 😂

The apply all feature would have been so good for Koji from Growing together and a few of your other sims who had hearing aids! I will get so much use out of that because a lot of my sims wear glasses, or really subtle natural make up that I just want to apply to everything.

I recently finally decided to buy Dine Out, intending to use Carl's Mod but thought I'd give it a try without mods first and ... it worked perfect fine. It's still working fine. I've been on several dinner dates with different households and everything has gone smoothly. I think some of the simulation fixes they did for gamewide helped Dine Out especially.

Oh man i really felt your pain when the elevators stopped working. Hopefully they change it so it limits it to one elevator per floor allowed. I can see why it's just the one right now, only needing to get to street level, but with this update I feel like they need to work on allowing more. And allowing one per floor would make it easier for them to program in as well.

I live in Atlanta and there is totally a building with a billboard facing another building. The billboard was there first, then someone built a new building very close. Lovely view.

That bug is back where sims are all randomly mean to each other. Don't play in any saves where you want to preserve friendly relationships!

I love how there are (normally) some marketing geniuses in the Sims 4 Department (because they need some to survive) but NONE OF THEM thought they should actually ADVERTISE about the "you can now create apartments on Penthouses" thing? Idk I find it really funny 😂

love the look of this, could totally see the landlord living in the penthouse and being an artist/photographer and being good friends with some of their tennents but one of them drives them crazy XD also ironically the weirdest shaped apartment, the longboi is my favorite, it has so much character

Functional elevators seems like one of those things that’ll be updated over time. They keep changing things with penthouses (first it was the windows and now this)

6:04 I used to be a real estate agent specializing in high rises and high end properties. One of the penthouses I sold was a 3 story unit that was basically stairs only. I say that because the “elevator” in the unit was the size of a single person. It wasn’t wheelchair accessible, though I can’t speak to the current standard in the US much less elsewhere in the world.
