My wife just bought the moto e on boost mobile after losing out breaking several top tier phones! I've been playing with it and I'm amazed at how good it handles and has a 4.5 inch screen . Even with it being "sub 720p " it looks really sharp, I was very surprised! I have a galaxy mega 2 and and the moto E outscored it on almost every benchmark test I through at them both! I know the mega 2 isn't isn't a beast or anything performance wise but I certainly didn't expect it to outperform my samsung ! That's crazy being the moto E is their lowest spec'd phone! I know samsung has had a bunch of junk in their phones and it's not running the latest android but still, that really says alot about Motorola ! Done rambling but thought it needed to be said that the moto E, G, X are all bad ass devices regardless of which one you can afford! Good review John ! You're getting a lot better at being in front of the camera. Don't take this personal but you really got on my nerves before and lately it's been getting better and better for me to watch!

Great review. But I disagree with your last statement. I feel with the awesome battery life, micro SD expansion, and almost lag free stock Android, this will be perfect for power users. I think you meant this isn't the phone for people who are spec hungry and want the latest and greatest. Or Gamers who needs the better graphics gpu.

I do wished you had some underwater test shots. I think this is a great phone for the pool. A great budget alternative to the s6 active.
