Here is video 2 of 8 of plants I recommend growing in your garden. Bloomerang Lilac is one of the best performing lilacs a gardener can grow. Once established it will bloom repeatedly from spring to fall on a very manageable well-kempt plant. Very winter hardy and long lived, they are a great foundation plant or informal hedge. #lilac #syringa #shrubs #gardening

Thanks for answering my question about the Bloomerang lilacs. I was wondering if here in our zone 6b was cold to enough for them to perform well, especially reblooming. We are definitely adding one to our garden, now debating if we should go with a pink or purple one.

Where can I buy lilacs? I live in Northern California Sacramento area. We get hot summer and windy. This year winter has been wet and freezing cold.

If the crepe myrtle is "the lilac of the south", then this 'Bloomerang' lilac might be the (summer blooming) crepe myrtle of the north!
