What makes Jack's jumpscare the scariest is how low of a chance it is to encounter him which if you are a new player and didnt know of him, it would scare the living hell out of you because it is so sudden and you probably may have gone into multiple closets before and wouldnt expect it. Best example is that video where a kid encounters Jack for the first time while being chased by Figure and starts to cry. It just shows how terrifying Jack can really be especially when you're being chased by something already, so if you had the same reaction as that kid, it's okay to cry

Edit: I just found Jack because I checked like almost every closet in the game and then I almost had a heart attack when he popped up
