Easier tips:
1. Instead of spawn proofing area for the shulker, instead push the boat into the portal and shoot the boat with an arrow
2. You don’t have to name shulkers or elder guardians as they don’t despawn
3. You can skip the elder guardian movement process entirely if you move the shulker to a underwater monument

tip: most of the time, you can just fly to a nearby ocean monument, get the mining fatigue, and quickly go back. I wouldn't recommend transporting the elder guardian.

I also watch speedruns like this but they are so fast that I failed miserably easily and just die all over and over again.

in 1.17, you only need to lose 5 hunger (2.5 icons) to eat the golden apple and pufferfish. the amogus stew can be eaten at full hunger in 1.17

You don’t need to move the elder guardian, just make your base of operations close to a monument

Tip: if you’re too lazy to farm scutes for the turtle master pots, you can do 2 level 1 beacons (1 with Haste, 1 with Resistance), or 1 level 4 beacon (Haste and Resistance) as well as an added slowness pot in the dispenser.

If you are doing this, I would recommend going into a creative copy and testing things out a bit before doing the real thing. I found that out the hard way. Also remember to always have a bucket of milk on you in case something goes wrong! Finally, make sure not to brew all the potions to max level out of instinct, which was what killed me when I tried this lol

I just found out how to bring shulker a into the overworld so that means I may have a SHULKER FARM in my own base haha

In 1.19+, you need to do this near a Sculk Shrieker (that has been naturally spawned, i.e in ancient cities) to get the "Darkness Effect".

IMPORTANT!!
As of 1.18.1, Dolphin’s Grace cannot be applied onto players with Invisibility, so I recommend replacing the Invisibility potion in the dispenser with the Regeneration that was in your hotbar.
I did it in this order: Golden Apple, Turtle Master, Pufferfish, Suspicious Stew, Invisibility

I messed up a lot of times because of this, hope you guys have it well! All the best :D

Tip, in the tutorial a name tag is used on the elder guardian and the shulker. You don't have to do that, because both are mobs that are generated with a structure, meaning they can Never despawn.
