Hi everyone!
On Saturday 7th November 2020, we ran our Women In Surgery International Virtual Conference over Zoom. We are incredibly proud to say we had over 1000 participants spanning across 60 countries!
For this event, we were joined by a panel of INCREDIBLE female surgeons who were able to share their wisdom and inspire many aspiring medical students to achieve their dreams of becoming a surgeon.
This is a recording of the Introduction to the conference and Talk 1: "You Can Be Part Of The Surgical Future" by Assoc Professor Rhea Liang (a general and breast surgeon from the Gold Coast) and Miss Zaria S Shaikh (a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon from Southwest England).
