I've yet to hear Klaus Mein in an acoustic setting to showcase his phenomenal vocal talent until thousands of you have requested "Send Me An Angel." This version from Luxembourg City in 2002 is such a perfect accompanyment to the very limited exposure I've had to Scorpions so far, and lyrical messaging revolving around one's destiny is so keen!

Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Scorpions performing "Send Me An Angel" LIVE for the first time.

To me, Klaus is the best rock ballad singer ever. His voice is so pure and emotional. Makes you feel it.

Germany creates many things of unsurpassed quality, beauty and perfection and the Scorpions are at the very top of that list.

My brother loved this band, went to many concerts. This song makes me sad because he passed away in 2023. Always reminds me of him!

Klaus has an incredible voice and what I've always loved most is that you can hear his German accent very subtly. Especially when he says "the".. Hands down one of the greatest vocalists in rock history.

Do you know Clause blew his voice out. He was told he could never sing again. I saw his dream come true, play in a stadium in America. I saw it, summer strut, the best performance by far compared to the other groups. Iron Maiden, Foreigner, Lover boy and Scorpions. Rudolph was incredible, Memory burn .

"He's going full rainstick" is a phrase I never thought I would hear in my life.

I met my husband when we'd were 19, we had a baby, we split, married others for 20 years didn't see each other. Reconnected at 42 and he said everyday he listened to this song thinking of me and we played it at our wedding. We were together 8 years and her passed away last year. While he was in a coma i played it over and over for him so he knew i was there.

Klaus always had a unique voice. It's really what I liked about their music. We just saw them in concert about a month ago. He can still belt it out even at 74 years old!

Klaus is an absolute monster vocalist. So underrated. And he's been so good for so long. I'd love to see you react to Holiday. It's fantastic vocally, and basically 2 songs in one.

I was so lucky to be in Berlin when the Scorpions played at the Opera House with the Berlin Philharmonic. I was still in school back then, and our teacher said we had to visit a "cultural event". A friend of mine and I asked him if the Scorpions would count as such, and he said yes. So, we got some money from the school that we would normally would have spent on theatre tickets and were able to afford the tickets for the concert. It was awesome, and I'll never forget it!

I'm so glad to see that you picked this version, probably the best one out there. I have to mention that here Klaus is 54 years old, but you can't really notice any signs of vocal aging! My recommendation for your next reaction would be 'We' ll burn the sky' in Sun Plaza Hall in 1979, outstanding performance!

I thinkbyou would love the version of Send Me an Angel with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Berlin and Zucchero. The beauty of the contrast betweenbthe voices of Klaus and Zucchero and the orchestration is just, as you would say, exquisite. I love this channel BTW, thanks!

Klaus's vocals were amazing for this entire concert. How can anyone who lost their voice in 1981 then had 2 vocal surgeries sound that good?
