One of the best explanations on how to set up and use a Live Event. Other videos have walked through the setup process, but Tony goes the extra mile by walking through the broadcast of a live event as an example. I found it especially helpful to better understand how the live event works when I need to wear two hats - producer and presenter. He also gives some very practical, useful tips, such as selecting the proper format of PPT for broadcast/sharing.

Hi which package is better for an awards event? Ordinary ms teams or ms live events? the recipients will be in their own homes and will need to come on camera to speak and accept their awards as we will not be in a room together. There will be a PowerPoint slide for each of their achievements to show the rest of the attendees. Also, we will have 2 presenters and a speaker. From your video, you said they can only use the chat and q&a function in live events. So I'm guessing it will be the ordinary teams package? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Great tutorial. Love it. Is there a way to let attendee register for the LIVE event and auto receive a link to the webinar?

Hey, wanted to know whether we can add poll questions in MS Teams Live Public Event, just like how it's done in ZOOM.

Hi, good tutorial. I've subscribed and follow your channel. Love it. One question, on TEAMS LIVE, is it possible to have a guest presenter on the same screen as the producer (and/or another presenter). Like a talk show scenario. Or like TEAMS meeting where you can have more than 1 person on screen talking. How to do this on teams LIVE?

Also, when I create a Public event, the attendees who do not have MS TEAMS, can still join rigth? Using the link that I will share? Do they really need to have MS TEAMS or can they join from their browser normally, however, how will the attendees be able to raise questions if that's the case.

Hi this is a great video. Thank you. It's taken me two days to get this feature set up with all th delays in updating the app. Please will you help me with a few queries.

I am setting up a live event in June. I am hoping to post the link to Facebook and my website to gain attendees during the weeks leading up to the event. Is this possible?
Also I set up the event on the date but unlike a team, there is no list of upcoming events and my calendar only gives me a week view so it's hard to find the actually event. My calendar is also pretty crazy. June goes up to the 20th only for some reason and I can't change the date manually. Fluffing around I managed to set the 27th but it took a bit of play to work it out.

Is there a way to use whiteboard in an event. Or is there something else I can use to achieve this.

Thanks again for the video.

On Teams LIVE sharing a screen, can I share part/section of the screen (crop screen) rather than an entire screen?

I understand how this works but what I cannot seem to understand is how you line up multiple pieces of content. So for example, if i am sharing a presentation live and i want to queue up a video or another presentation how do i access that without hitting stop sharing? or can i hit stop sharing and then queue it up? but then what does the attendee see? how can you do this
