I did Gros Morne in NL and was great. Mild hike with only one hard rock climb in the gully. Wore my heavy elk setters with 400 thinsulate in the summer. Hot and heavy boots but I've never had a blister so they're my hikers.
Can you recommend a decent set of summer hikers? I have wide feet

How are you determine skill level of a trail or hike? Is it a combination of Elevation, Speed, Terrain? I am just thinking for my own family hikes. Thank you.
