hi guys, here's my detailed first look reaction video of the newly launched 2025 Yamaha R3 where I talk about what all new features/specs they've added to this new variant or is this a mere design overhaul.

I was expecting a big jump in displacement like jumping from R6 to R7, similarly jumping to R3 to R5. Also, it still doesn't get TFT screen or electronics, which is disappointing.

Really like the new looks. I think they made a mistake not going up to at least 400cc though. The R3 was a class leader when it was facing the CBR300 and Ninja 300. It was already falling behind the Ninja 400 but now it is way behind with the RS457 and Ninja 500 being the class leaders. Yamaha really didn't do as much here as they could have which is very sad.

NO dino bhai sleeper clutch was not there in gen2 r3...now they have introduced it..

If they can keep the pricing right then i believe that this new r3 could be a game changer.

R3 should get tft display with ride and abs modes adjustable levers quickshifter with slip and assist clutch and radially mounted brake callipers then it can make huge numbers

Look at it, it does not get a new frame nor a new swing arm or not even upgraded engine. (Apartt from the assistant sleeper clutch).so anybody who has an old r3 can face lift it easily.

Wonderful as always Dino. But the R3 isn't legendary anymore. The bike is simply more plasticky, more expensive and more erring on the not so great value for money side. Provided, it's a rev happy engine, provided it's got a 0.9 hp and 0.4 nm increase, the Aprilia RS457 and the Duke 390 is simply any day more fun, VFM and perform great on roads where it matters. After riding the R3 enough, an excellent tourer of a bike, but simply a boring city bike. Personally being a proponent of Yamaha, in my humble opinion though the R3 will remain a dud with the Yamaha moniker playing the trump card for it. Of course, your mileage may vary!
