Back when I just started playing DND and was learning about different characters, I thought Manshoon was the same as Shoon, but a shorter version of a name 😅 I haven't found Staff of Shoon official art anywhere - so I sketched it myself in the video based on the description to give you an idea.

I remember that in a book (maybe volo's guide to magic not sure) his staff was described and it said the staff of the unicorns was not that important to him and he only wanted it back because his pride was hurt when he lost it to the dragon

You can actually fight Shoon VII/Zallanora in Baldur’s Gate 2 if you manage to annoy the Cowled Wizards in Athkatla if you keep breaking the city’s spellcasting prohibition law enough times. She actually has more levels than Irenicus, plus she is joined by an entourage of three high ranking cowled archmages..

Really great, I created a campaign in Amn based on the two artifacts, shoon is present in the form of zallanora and this info will help me a lot. It would be nice to see a video on amn since it isn't covered much in the new editions.

Shoon VII one of my favorites! Land's of Intrigue and Empire of the Shinning Sands are excellent resources to have. Unfortunately Shoon wasn't properly used as a villain by WotC and the 3e Realms. Then again that might be a good thing. 🤔
