This is a great video if you want to visit Trieste, we just have and we watched this before, during and again after our trip. Thanks for posting, it's an excellent travel guide, we felt we'd seen it all after ticking off the various places.

Thank you so much for your videos! I've only watched two so far, but they both provide a ton of useful information, and the video quality is almost like that of travel channels. It's very enjoyable to see all those beautiful places and to listen to your narration, you can tell it's done by a professional.

Thank you for sharing the information about Trieste. I saw it’s one of cruise ports near Venice. I was thinking to find the cruise line not in Trieste. Now I might reconsider.😂

The whole region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia is a must see from the sea, the flatlands all the way into Alps.

Great video! We are will be in Venice for a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year's Day. I'm a coffee lover, so we are planning at least a day trip to Trieste. You are the first person, in all the videos I've seen, that mentioned the buffets. I wasn't able to catch the name of the buffet you had filmed at, but it looked right up my alley. Would you mind replying with the name? Thanks so much for the content and I'm looking forward to watching your other videos.

I'm Italian American & plan to retire to Italy after I am done with work. Next year I plan to start scouting different cities, Triest is on the list to check out. Do you have video how you moved to Italy?

Disembarkation from cruise in Trieste. Will require taxi to train station to store bags there. Tips for this process? Later that day taking direct train to Trieste airport.

Tecnically is not a CAP in B, is CAPO.
Mostly is an abbreviation for Capuccino straight from our dialect.
Also just a fair warning for everyone, the prices and the time to wait at the "caffe degli specchi" which is in our main square is HUMONGOS, we talk almost 2 times expensive as normal coffee, and if on summer days or good days, is FULL of people and tourists, so will take a while to take a seat.
A good and nice alternative if I can say, near there is also Urbanis, which is also another historic bar in here.
Also you are right, the monument in Piazza Unità used to be a fountain, then with issues on the basements and more they never opened the water again...sadge.
Fun fact about our canal, the entire zone is called "ponte rosso" or "red bridge", on it there is a newer one they made recently and is funnly enough called "ponte curto" or "shortie bridge" cus when they where about to open it to the public, it was found out it was shorter than it was needed, it became a meme around locals.
Still pretty nice video!
