The word angelic is often used to describe someone as exceptionally beautiful, innocent, and kind. It also relates to angels who throughout history have often been portrayed as supernatural beings that we aspire to emulate.

Angels are present in various religions, including Christianity. They have appeared in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. In various Christian artwork, angels are often painted as human figures with wings, halos, and emanating divine light.

But the Bible actually has a very different image of what angels actually looked like. If you take a closer look at how they're portrayed in those pages, it might make you rethink the word angelic.

It actually depends on the angel.
Ophanim, Cherubim, and Seraphim are the weird looking ones.
Regular Angels and Archangels are the ones that look Human. Gabriel is proof of that as well.

you forgot the two angels who were at Sodom and Gomorrah. They looked very much human. Lot had them come and stay at his place due to the fact that it wasn't safe to sleep in the street at night. Later the men of that city wanted the two angels so they could have their way with them. The two angels blinded the men and took Lot and his wife and two daughters out of the city. The two cities were going to be burned out of existence due to the sinful sexual acts that were going on.

Not all angels look like this, the ones with four sides & eyes all over are the ones that guard and follow God everywhere he goes. He goes on to say be kind to everyone because you may have entertained an 😇 👼 angel!!! Amen!

notice the messenger angels all have 'el' as the last two letters in their name. they are messengers from the creator god _elohim_ (el, eloi) from the book of genesis.
also notice eloi, (elohim) was the god jesus called for during his crucifixion.
_eloi_ translates into english as 'my god'.

the angel i saw was gorgeous by an definition of the word! his dark brown, wavy hair was sideswept at the brow & shoulder length. his robe was long to the feet & i say "he" bcz i saw the hair on his wrists as he held his hands out toward me. he was huge & stood on thin air with blue sky all around him though he was INSIDE the colosseum by the seattle space needle where he blocked one whole corner. the bright white light emitted FROM him, not on him, & not a doubt can cause a need for faith bcz when you've seen an angel you will forever KNOW the reality of the spiritual realm.

Another main reason why we can be scared of the angels is because they're extremely massive and Tall in size, they're very mighty in size

You are assuming angels have a gross appearance because you don't understand that there are so many beautiful versions of imagery - when, for example, someone like Ezekiel described his visions, he did not describe them like an artist would draw them, he just used words closest to what he could imagine to describe them by. In fact, the words "appeared like" or "Had the appearance of" is often included in the description and does not necessarily mean that an angel that looks like a "ring covered in eyes" actually looks like a flat surfaced ring with actual eyes. How would you describe a rainbow? A half circle of seven colours, right? But we all know that description doesn't actually describe the beauty of what a rainbow is. Moreover, the tone of the narration suggest you think it is something to laugh at. By the way whenever a creature is described to have four faces, it actually resembles a symbolism, it's a symbolic reference to the twelve tribes of Israel which camped facing North, East, South and West. And each group had a symbol, which was what the four faces represent. As the narration of the Bible continues into the New Testament, we actually see the revelation of Christ right up to Revelation, when the imagery of the four beings in Revelation 4 is revealed once again. People focus a lot on the physical idea, without understanding the actual meaning of each "animal" or face being represented in the imagery of angels.Imagine being so faithful or believing so faithfully that the ideas of God revealing Himself to you is seen even in visions of angels, that's real faith, if you ask me. As for the descriptions of angels, I like to remind you that God revealed Himself to Moses as a burning bush, not because God is actually a bush burning, this was just the image God revealed to Moses, to prepare his simple mind for what God as going to tell him about his future and being chosen to rescue the Israelites from Egypt.

Ezekiel‘s vision was of an aircraft vehicle of flight. It had the ability to look where it not went, which means it was able to go forward and backwards and sideways. He described the vehicle using objects that he has seen throughout his life. He used animals he use the hooves of calves he use the color of amber, wheels of the chariots! You don’t take this literally and Paint this goofy picture looking totally unnatural! God is supernatural! Which means more natural than we can imagine. God‘s throne was in this vehicle. Which means he was inside the vehicle! God spoke from inside this vehicle. Remember we are made in his image. The Messiah was made in his image, because he is God. And remember that we should be Be kind to strangers because we may be entertaining Angels.
