Now this was a surprise to remember.
Here is unit 16201, on commercial trash on a Saturday morning.
This is one of our first CNG trucks, and the first CNG front loaders ordered by the City of Oxnard, CA.
This truck, unit 16201, appeared commonly at my house until early-2020, when they switched to a rental Peterbilt 520. Unit 16201 was a regular spare for unit 16202, my former regular truck for my commercial trash route.
If you may or you may not have heard, unit 16201 was the exact unit that caught fire almost 4 months ago, and you can clearly tell by the paint.
Here is the video that shows unit 16201 on fire:
All credit is toward the creator of the video, NOT me.
It was a good thing they kept it in service and at least patch up the paint so it can still be used probably as a spare.
To my surprise, Hector was driving unit 16201, and he gave his best shot of revving the truck to the max!
The helper in the video asked me what my channel was and gave the name of the channel to him.
Huge thanks to Hector and his helper for letting me film!
