The vector cross product is an essential concept in vector mathematics, widely used in physics and engineering to find a vector perpendicular to two given vectors. This video provides a thorough explanation of the cross product, covering its definition, properties, and practical applications.

The video begins by defining the cross product of two vectors in three-dimensional space. You will learn how to determine the direction of the resulting vector using the right-hand rule, ensuring you understand the perpendicular nature of the cross product relative to the original vectors.

Step-by-step examples demonstrate how to calculate the cross product, breaking down the process into manageable parts. The video shows how to use the components of the vectors to find the resulting vector, providing clear and detailed instructions.

Additionally, the video explores various applications of the vector cross product, such as calculating torque in physics, determining the area of parallelograms in geometry, and finding the normal vector to a surface. Visual aids and practical examples help reinforce the concepts, making it easier to follow along and grasp the material.

Ideal for students, teachers, and professionals, this video simplifies the concept of the vector cross product. By the end, you will be confident in your ability to compute and apply the cross product in various mathematical and physical contexts.

"Talking about the significance of the passage of time, right, the significance of the passage of time, so when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time."

Off Topic but still math. Conic section at an angle ellipse vs cylinder section at an angle oval. Are they the same construction ie, two nails and a piece of string. I'm picturing a 45 degree section but thinking they are not the same shape or are they?
