I used to get so mad when kids would ride bikes and scooters on the court, but I would be thrilled to delay my tennis time for this when I walked in on it. If I didn't play at all it's still time well spent.

What is the weight of those sabers? My arm stops functioning effectively after 20 seconds of swinging, and mine wights about 900 grams or 1 kilo. It's not like I'm completely weak either - I can do dozens of pushups and handstand, but my wrists turned out to be surprisingly weak.

I’ve only learned a little saber, focus on regimental style that emphasizes basically always having weight on the rear foot, except when lunging obviously.
I notice a lot of front weighted stances here, like i would expect in long sword, does this come from any particular text(s)? I know older, pre-regimental, saber and broadsword can be very different.
