Kia Soul hatchback (2010-2014) review - CarBuyer

As a distinctive alternative to the likes of the Ford Fiesta, the Kia Soul offers lots of interior space and the beefed up looks of a 4x4, in a compact, easy to drive package. Aimed at younger drivers, there's an ever-changing raft of special editions, each 'themed' in a certain way with particular colours and trim options. Previous examples have included a flagship, luxury spec car, and a matt black model finished in bright red stickers. There are two 1.6-litre engines to choose from. One diesel, and one petrol.

I have a friend who just bought one of these. It seems the Koreans are starting to drop the CD player. To be sure, there is a jack where you can plug a portable one in. But it's sad to know that the CD is declining.

FYI that isn't the 2014 Kia Soul (newer version) as you can see at 3:02 that it doesn't have the floating button-looking shape on the rear. That is of course unless the UK 2014 is not the same as the US 2014 besides the obvious differences. Regardless, I believe the video should be 2010-2013 because 2014 is when the newer version came out.

I think you should change the format a bit or mix it up because I've stopped caring about rear middle seat legroom now, no one really likes sitting in the middle anyway. Also all these crappy cars are wearing a bit thin and I can't remember anything you've said about them. I think you disliked this chunky grandparent-esque 'soul' but ended up sitting on the fence?
