Apple issues urgent emergency software update #shorts

This emergency software patch ios 14.8 has been issued after it was discovered that there was a security flaw that could allow hackers to install spyware secretly without you clicking anything.

You would not be able to tell your device has been hacked.

The Pegasus spyware allows a hacker to eavesdrop or even steal data from your Apple device. This includes iPhones, Macs, iPads, and Apple Watches.

This spyware is known as "zero-click". An image file was sent via iMessage to install the spyware allegedly. iPhone hacks like this are hard to detect even in 2021.

Apple issued this patch on Monday September 13th to fix the flaw.

To update your iPhone:
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap General
3. Tap Software Update
4. Tap Install now

Anyone notice that Apple loves to 'discover security flaws requiring an update' at the same time that the ToS gets updated as well? "Yeah, you have to update your device to keep using it, and you have to agree to a different set of terms than original to do the update." It should be illegal to change To after purchase, as the customer often has zero recourse for predatory practice, and Apple should be found liable for any security failure it does not share with potentially affected customers on the day it is discovered. SMH these tech companies are turning into the villainous megacorporations from dystopian films. Or maybe they always were and are just now starting to smell bad.
