Deku has become a genuine badass this season. Like he started to form the beginning of the series but now that he's learning his power he has ability to match that personal spirit. Loving this anime.

The thing I like the most about this is that, even though Deku had some crazy plot armor in this whole ordeal, his actions do have consequences. If he goes crazy like that again he may lose functionality in his arms. So he needs to keep training while being careful not to push himself too hard, otherwise he'll never be a hero. Meanwhile, in most other anime, the protagonist would be like, "Fuck you, lookit my weird ass protag hair, I'm too important to get seriously injured" and just do it again. That's why I love Deku.
