I met the “man I was meant to marry” (as I referred to him) when I was 16 & he was 20. We both dated individuals and the timing was never right. I found out he married his girlfriend, she was pregnant. It crushed me. I got married, had two children, got divorced. I found out he got divorced, I reached out to him. He was dating someone for a few years. I knew of her, she was a great person. I felt if he didn’t end up with me, I’m glad he found someone like her. A few years later, I found him on social media and sent him a message asking how he & his son were. He messaged back “of all people I’ve ever wanted to hear from, ive wanted to hear from you. Here’s my number.” We met in 1994 & started dating in 2009. We got married in 2018 & became grandparents in 2019. Fairytales do come true.

I transferred to a new high school after my sophomore year. Had a crush on a girl I had one class with. She had a boyfriend throughout high school, so I never expressed my feelings.
7 years after I graduated, I saw her at a stoplight. I asked her for her phone number in between stoplights as we were both driving through town. She, to this day, tells me she had just got a new phone and number that day and wasn’t sure if she remembered the number correctly.
Our 11th wedding anniversary is this Friday. Been together 14 years. I am blessed more than I deserve.

I thought I’d lost my forever, we were in high school together and rode the bus together. I had to move when I got sick and had to drop out. Flash forward a few years, I went into a nursing home/rehabilitation center after going into kidney failure. When I got out I moved in with my best friend. Her ex’s brother was her roommate at the time, who turned out to be this guys best friend. We got together November 30th three years ago and are now engaged! So happy it turned out this way instead of before, we would have never worked before!
