Wayne stated it best. What is that old black and white image preceding every sprinter all about? That and the music selected for the backdrop, along with Wayne's observation subtract from an otherwise good topic.

If I could choose one runner to watch all day it would be FloJo, that stride wasn't no joke....

After her death in 1998,  Prince Alexandre de Merode, the Chairman of the International Olympic Committee's medical commission, claimed that Griffith-Joyner was singled out for extra, rigorous drug testing during the 1988 Olympic Games because of rumors of steroid use. De Merode told The New York Times that Manfred Donike, who was at that time considered to be the foremost expert on drugs and sports, failed to discover any banned substances during that testing.[63] On Flo-Jo, De Merode later said:

We performed all possible and imaginable analyses on her. We never found anything. There should not be the slightest suspicion

Veronica Campbell Brown is a two-time Olympic champion in 200 meters. Where is she? 😳

FG Joyner had such a smooth stride. Hard to believe it was 28 years ago. That will take some doing in rio. While Felix, Thompson, and Schippers are all in the mix, they average a three and halfscond gap to assault flo's record. Should be interesting. Also a couple of 100m women who might do very well in the 200. My take is the longer the stride the more difficult in the curve.

Abby Steiner recently notched a 21.80. Needs to improve by almost half second to catch Flojo.

Yes, Dopers, half of them. Should not be on the list of genuine performers. It seems the Uploader hasn't done his homework. A fan of Athletics should not be showing himself up by extolling the virtues of Cheaters.

i give credit only 3 of them, thompson, felix and schippers. where are campbell-brown, jeter and fraser-pryce? others could remove from that list.

Flo Jo was never tested positive. So even though we may suspect she was doping we have to go with the times
