Why is the Federal Budget so complicated?

Households and businesses do budgets all the time. So why can’t Congress manage to make one without drama?

Looks into Modern Monetary Theory y'all. The government could be a benevolent thing issuing a 0% interest rate, neither making a loss or profit, more of a gift. Society would then give back the money they were gifted in taxes. This is similar to today but there is a major difference. Were using this system to suck the wealth out of the middle class and expand the powers of an unloving, egotistical few.

I don't believe people would be able to operate with a benevolent system over the long term because of the temptations of free credit, I just think it's a refreshing take at what society could be.

Instead we need to have a gold standard and minimal government for as a lasting system. Give the power back to the people and watch peace and prosperity spread like a wildfire.

Why do you call social security and Medicare entitlements when you pay into them and then once your retired or get to a certain age ask for it back? Do you call people who have a savings account or 401k entitled people too?
