They have met every milestone they set. Last quarter they delivered a 24 layer cell for third party evaluation, and it went well. In parallel they are developing scalable manufacturing techniques. This is one of their main priorities that drives all their decisions from materials to techniques- as opposed to a nice lab project.

Also cash on hand is listed as $910, 000, 000 and not $234, 000, 000. Maybe different criteria?

When they come to the market, they won't have it to themselves, but in terms of energy density AND quick charging, they might lead the pack. As you note, it will be a huge market, so plenty of room at the Inn for different technologies with different strengths and weaknesses..

Agree. Ita cash plus marketable securities (which have dropped becuase the market dropped). Its possible that as the market improves the value of marketable securities will also increase and give further cash runway should it need...not to mention the various ways in which it can generate revenue without necessarily manufacturing themselves (I.e. patents royalties or pre order payments). All comes down to when and what partner they can release with.

Potentially, the cost reduction vs energy potential of these batteries make current batteries just materially inefficient to build. Easily could sky rocket if they can crack manufacturing at scale.
