I Made a Remote Lie Detector to Test Zuckerberg's Pulse

Identify deception in anyone on camera, then measure their heart rate.

My latest project, Truthsayer, reveals signs of possible deception in live or recorded video by analyzing faces to identify changes in heart rate and other relevant physical cues.

I tested it out on some known liars, then tried to determine whether Zuckerberg is in fact a lizard person.

You should check the DEF CON talk out especially if you want a more nuanced view on the accuracy of measuring deception, including a long list of references at the back. Since polygraphs poorly measure nervousness, they're pretty much useless in practice as "lie" detectors... Maybe I'll make a video on beating polygraphs?

Covering my face often when I am thinking, or just embarassed. Doesn't mean it's a lie, just ashamed. Liers can be ashamed, but not necessarily. I think it would make more sense to detect the base emotion, not the derivation what the emotion means. People (and systems) often misinterpret (social) awkwardness and lack of comfort with lying.
