I regularly go to Goodwill in FL when i visit my mom and grab a big suitcase to bring home things she gives me. When i get home i purge my clothes, put them in the suitcase then drop it off at my local goodwill. 50 bucks to check the suitcase on my return flight is a lot cheaper than boxing everything up and shipping it.

If you can score any flights via Southwest, they let you check two bags for free plus a carry-on. When I go to crochet conferences, I carry huge suitcases with a lot a room. The people that check me in always look at the largest and say that one's going to be overweight, and I just say weigh it. They are so surprised and I tell them it's filled with yarn (I carry back yarn for friends as well).

Steve Irwin!!! My son is 15 now, and Steve passed before he was born, but I didn't tell him. He still has a talking Steve doll and a truck with a croc. Very sentimental!
