It has been an exciting close to the academic year at the University of Massachusetts. From inaugurations and commencement ceremonies to record-breaking funding for research and development, UMass continues to demonstrate the powerful impact we have on Massachusetts and the bright future ahead.

At a time when the Commonwealth is experiencing an exodus of vital young workers - the lifeblood of our innovation economy - the University of Massachusetts will continue to fulfill a critical mission for the Commonwealth. With more than 73,000 students across our five campuses, we remain the single-largest contributor to the Massachusetts workforce, with nearly 75% of our graduates staying in Massachusetts after graduation.
