Poor example in the video. 34 years of doing this in the Water Industry you put the past on the threads cross thread never with the thread in the video they only coat a very small part of the end of the pipe leaving 80% of the threads empty. Cover all the Threads don't worry about getting it on the pipe. Clean it after if you wish.
