My wife and have one child. We wanted more but realized it's very expensive. We never had anymore children. These people keep having kids knowing they'll get government assistance for every child. How is that allowed when you have someone having 4 or 5 kids ? There should be a cut-off at 2 kids, and if you decide to have more kids after, Then figure it out . Assistance should also only be for a year max

A good goal is for everyone who can work to do so and be self sufficient.
The way the SNAP program has been managed is abysmal. Too much to say here.
Feeding people doesn't have to be expensive or complicated, but the politicians and bureaucrats have wanted it that way. SHAME ON THEM.

How many of these people watched the surfer dude on television use his SNAP card to buy lobster? He used it because it was given to him. He was like 20 years old, smoked pot and surfed all day. Why do tax paying citizens have to buy him food? The misuse of this program has gone on far too long.

Everyone needs help every now and then but SNAP benefits are not supposed to be a way of life. Throw a apple or pair tree in the back yard instead of all them trees that let of that terrible pollen that a lot of people are allergic to, plant some fruits and vegetables some can be grown inside. You don't have to depend on SNAP for everything. Imagine if all those trees on the streets were mango trees or apple trees, how many hungry people could just grab a fruit and take a bite?

I know a hand full of people who illegally traded their food stamps in exchange for cash. I think if the benefits are just going to be abused, then get rid of it.

The definition of SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. It is a supplemental program, not a way of life.

THEIR NEED TO BE A TIME LIMIT ON HOUSING TOO PEOPLE SHOULD BE GIVEN 5 YEARS TO GET OFF HOUSING. IN THAT 5 YEAR TIME PERIOD THEY SHOULD GO TO SCHOOL PICK UP A TRADE. How about people listen thoroughly. This does not impact children, seniors or the disabled. I am 150% agreement that abled-bodied individuals should demonstrate some type of action to show they are moving toward self-sufficiency. It is not hard for everyone To gain employment. I have heard this category of people say time and time again "I don't want to work" so please stop acting like the policies are designed to make people starve.
