Dear Tamara,
Thanks for keeping me on your mailing list. You do great service to a history the world is now seeing repeated in Ukraine, with killings and more, and in Belarus state complicity. While the WWII events of Naliboki Forest occurred after my family left Russian oppression in the Pale for America in the great emigration period, the interview was like seeing and hearing them for myself. So touching. Thank you for that. My family history in Lithuania and Belarus was expertly searched and report by Professor Dmitry Shirochin, who you recommended to me. Perhaps others would like to know about him. Dmitry has become a valued friend and our family is grateful to him. As you know, Russian archives are difficult to navigate for anyone but experts like Dmitry. Thanks again for all you do. Best regards.

Amazing! There must have been smaller groups in other wilderness areas that fought and fought and took it to the Nazi's with courage rarely see in human history. Seems like a whole lot of Americans don"t want to know about this. They always talk about if the Jewish people had guns they could have fought the Germans and saved themselves. Here it is many did have guns and did fight back. Nothing could have stoped the murder camps but these world class warriors fought as hard as can be. Here is the story these right wingers claim they want to hear but not really. They imagine all th people just gave up they do not want to know these stories. Thanks for telling this amazing history.
