Glad you had a great reading month!
- You may have convinced me to try the Jack Reacher series. On to my massive TBR it goes!
-Glad you enjoyed Stone of Farewell. I, too, appreciate the recap of previous books at the beginning of the later books.
-Dark Matter is on my TBR. I read Recursion earlier this year and really enjoyed it. So much so that I went out and bought Dark Matter.
Thank you for sharing, and I hope July has also been a good reading month for you! 📚

Beautiful reading month! 🎉
I cannot wait to start the Jack Reacher series. I'm hoping to start it this weekend.

I am really interested in the First Law and especially Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. So many potential favorites and so little time:) Quite exciting!

Great reading month! I need to give Shakespeare another chance. I read a bit of Hamlet and Macbeth in high school, but I couldn't really get into any of it surprisingly. I think it's because I had a difficult time understanding it, or maybe it's because I didn't like to read the playscript format. But maybe I will have a different reaction now that I am older and have more reading experience.

I read Fevre Dream by George R. R. Martin and really enjoyed it; I gave it 4 Stars. 🌟 It's a horror fantasy about steamboats and vampires on the Mississippi River in the 1800s. (That's it in a nutshell, anyway. lol.) Loved the descriptions of the river and the steamboats! The pacing is also good, and there's some great dialogue and intense action scenes. There is an interesting take on the vampire lore as well. Oh, and my favorite character, Captain Marsh, is a pretty cool and complex protagonist. A real tough and flawed guy with a heart of gold in some ways. Highly recommend! ⛴ 🧛‍♂️

Lots of variety this month! Trouble with Peace is one of my favorite books of all time! Dark Matter I read in a day also and it was just so compelling. I thought Stone of Farewell was incredibly slow and I haven't picked up TGAT yet, but I will soon. I'll also be starting Men at Arms this month!

Wow, what a FANTASTIC reading month you had! I loved the Into the Wild movie when I saw it years ago, and have been meaning to pick up the book since but still haven't. I'm also scared of rewatching the movie, because I worry I might not like it as much as the first time...

Yay for summarizing a really nice reading month 🥳 Thank you for all the reviews, I've added Guards, guards and Lee Child to my possible TBR ☺ And huge congratulations on so many books! I managed to read 4 out of 5 books thanks to the Lords of the Reads(that is my best month this year and I'm still proud😄), My picks were Warbreaker (5*), Us against You by Backman (4.5*), Finders Keepers by King (4*) and The Happy Ever After Playlist (3*) - all pretty different but also mostly pretty good :)

You are the third person in a very short amount of time that i've heard talking about Dark Matter. Is this the universe trying to tell me that i should read the book?

If you enjoyed Shakespeare have you given Janny Wurts a try?
