Hey everyone! My pest treatment regimen has changed a lot since I posted this video - right now I recommend rinsing off the plant with water and applying beneficial insects. Scimitus mites for the soil, swirskii or cucumeris mites for the larvae and lacewing larvae for the adults. Ideally repeat every 3-4 weeks until they're gone.

Also this video specifically shows greenhouse thrips - Western Flower Thrips leave more subtle damage without the black dots and have tan-coloured bodies, not black. Stay tuned for an updated video!

I have seen the damage and never knew what that was from. Thank you for sharing the pics of it.

Mine came from Lowe’s …lemon lime Pothos… wanted a fuller hanging basket of them so I transplanted together a week later noticed them treated with hydrogen peroxide. Nothing killed them so I just now took them out, separated them and watered down like crazy and re-potted separate. They are in quarantine we will see. I learned to look much closer when I buy plants that is for sure.

Or just water with hydrogen peroxide occasionally and spray with neem oil every week or two. Thrips aren't the end of the world especially for healthy plants. Also spray down or otherwise dust your leaves regularly.

Or you can use Peroxide just pour on the soil an water as directed ( wait till the soil is some what dry an never let your plant sit in water 💧
Good Luck ✌🏾

What is the name of the plant that you are looking though with the multi colored leaves? I have one and I have never been able to identify it. Thank you

My monstera adinsonii was heavily infested… i had to cut all of the leaves away.. I left pretty much one leaf that seemed healthy and I hope it will recover. Il keep spraying it with neem oil, such a shame…
