This was pure tactics. Hewitt won the point, but Sock won the mental game. It's hard to battle against someone you like. That's why Sock went on to—oh, he lost this match.

I remember going to the US open as a kid. Vijay Armitrage was receiving and knew the serve was in. The chair would not change the call and challenges didn't exist yet. On the next serve he received, he hit the ball a mile out of court. He made his point. Tennis used to be known as a gentleman's game.

I love the utter confusion on Hewitt's face when Sock tells him to challenge it. Like "Is this bloke for real?....Um, sure I'll challenge it!" Hilarious moment!

Jack Sock won the 2014 Wimbledon Doubles tournament with Vasek Pospisil. I’m glad a guy this honest is successful in his sport.
