In today’s video I’m sharing with you a painting I’ve been working on in private initially.
I want to share with you one of the most challenging yet rewarding stages of the process - adding the shadows.

I’ve been asked about this a lot in the past, and I want to focus a bit on that, the mixing and the application of paint.
I also made sure to include the names of the paints this time haha 😂

Ref Pic, Drawing & Painting Stages:

PAINTS:
French Ultramarine - Daniel Smith
Perylene Red - Daniel Smith
Yellow Ochre - M. Graham
New Gamboge - Paul Ruben

Enjoy! 😊🙏🏼
- Liron

00:57 - The Plan & Paints
02:25 - Large Shadows

I’m in panic mode when I use water colors ( not well). You doing it while talking is most impressive:)

Watch your videos a lot and this has been one of my favorites. Love how you allowed and encouraged us to paint along with you. I like to watch tutorials all the way through and then go back and paint along. I will definitely be trying my hand at this one. Thanks so much and please post more videos like this one!!
