My parents are from Kerala, India. The immigrated to Canada over 50+ years prior and my three elder siblings and I, are all born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I feel very connected to my culture and upbringing when I listen to this.I have only visited Indian twice and I am thankful for those trips. It connected me to my ancestral land, our Orthodox-Christian religion and my parents upbringing. Thank you Vidya, for this beautiful song. Your voice is beautiful and I really needed to hear this.
