I had never heard of this woman until the Brits. I thought I would listen to some of her music. I am SO glad that I did. I am coming out of an abusive relationship of 12 years. My ex partner is at last in prison for what he has done to me. Listening to this song has made me realise how strong I am. Music should reflect real life, not all love and hearts and flowers. I am now a very f7cking strong woman. Thank you Raye for singing it like it really is with your beautiful words and voice. Thank you SO much, you are keeping me strong. Xx
